Lights. Camera. Fashion. This fall, Fashion Island will be lighting up the global film stage with megawatt style. For the first time ever, StyleWeekOC and Newport Beach Film Festival unite with a singular purpose: Showcase a powerhouse week of fashion and cinema. Join us out at the Bloomingdale's Courtyard for a weekend of free events on Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20. 

 

Saturday October 19

11am: Conversation and Book Signing with Stassi Schoeder

  • NYT Bestselling Author and TV personality Stassi Schroeder will participate in a Q&A moderated by Emmy-award winning host of E! News Keltie Knight and book signing for her new book You Can’t Have It All.

1pm: Keynote Feature with Arianne Phillips, special appearance by Aubrey Plaza

  • Join us in honoring Arianne as she receives the Creative Visionary Award, celebrating her groundbreaking contributions to costume design presented by actress and producer Aubrey Plaza. After the presentation, Arianne will discuss her insights on the intersection of fashion and film with Anna Wyckoff, communications director at the Costume Designers Guild.

1:30pm: Keynote Feature with Julianne Hough

  • Emmy Award-winning choreographer and actress Julianne Hough steps into the spotlight for a celebrity fashion discussion moderated by Lindzi Scharf, founder of TheRetaility.com and a Hollywood Reporter contributor. Garnering 2 Emmy nominations for Best Choreography on “Dancing with the Stars” and winning an Emmy for choreographing Sia’s “Elastic Heart” alongside her brother Derek and Tessandra Chavez, join us as Julianne Hough takes the main stage to share her latest projects and insights on all things fashion.

Sunday, October 20

3pm: Costume Designer Conversation with Colleen Atwood

  • Hear from acclaimed costume designer Colleen Atwood on her award winning designs from the box office sensation Warner Bros’ “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” and Apple TV+’s mini-series “Masters of the Air.”

5pm: An Afternoon with Bob Mackie and Friends

  • Join TCM's Drew Carver for a conversation with Bob Mackie, Carol Burnett and more as they discuss his film Bob Mackie:Naked Illusions. We encourage you to join Mackie at THE LOT for the screening of Bob Mackie:Naked Illusions prior to the Q&A at 2:30pm. Tickets for the screening can be purchased here for the screening.*
